First Media Review

The first movie that I want to review is Taken.  The movie "Taken" is a non-stop thrill ride about a character named Bryan Mills played by Liam Nesson.  The story centers around a father's quest to find his daughter in Paris where she got captured by drug traffickers.  Liam Nesson did a really good job as the main character as well as the rest of the cast.  The film is very suspenseful and there is never a dull moment.  The action sequences are really good and they are edited very well for a PG-13 movie.  The music score for this movie is moving and is really good.  In my opinion, Taken is a very well done film and I think many people that watch this will not be disappointed.

My Introduction

Hello, My name is Michael Daugherty and welcome to my blog.  I have been studying T.V. Production for about 4 years and I enjoy it.  What I want to get out of taking Introduction to Electronic Media is learn everything I can and over my time in this class, I will find my strongpoint in some sort of media.  Also, I have been working at the Frederick County Government for 2 years and it's been a great learning experience for me.  Before working at the Government, I was taking T.V. productions courses at the Career and Tech Center for about 2 years and I learned lots about this.  During my senior year, my instructor from CTC got me into an internship for the government and in 6 months, I became a part time employee.

My educational goals is to get my AA degree from FCC and then go to a great tech school.  What I like to do in my spare time is go to the movies, play guitar, Bowling, Hockey, Football, and to create movies.  What I don't like is loud noises.  Some of the movies I like are Taken, Unknown, Watchmen, The Peacemakers, Out of Sight, Anchorman - The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Stepbrothers and Observe and Report.  In conclusion to my first post, I hope everyone that visits my blog enjoys it and that I will add some followers on to my blog in the days to come.
